TEEJ 

Teej is a festival celebrated by married women but unmarried girls also celebrate it.In this year it is celebrated on September 12.Lord Shiva and Parbati is worshiped in this festival. Teej welcomes the monsoon season.Mainly people celebrate it by dancing and singing. Married women observe fast for the longer life of their husband. 

Teej is followed by  one day strict fast observed by both married and unmarried women to find their desired soulmate and for his well being.
